Job Description
Razorfish is seeking a Group Creative Director, AI Content to lead the creative oversight of AI-generated content across static, motion, and hybrid formats. This role is responsible for setting the creative standard for AI-driven work while maintaining a strong working knowledge of generative tools and their capabilities. You will guide AI artists, collaborate closely with production, and ensure outputs meet a high level of craft, consistency, and strategic intent. This is a creative leadership role grounded in strong visual judgment and practical understanding of AI technologies.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Set the creative vision and visual standards for AI-generated content
Oversee AI artists and guide refinement cycles to elevate output quality
Ensure consistency, cohesion, and strong visual storytelling across assets
Maintain strong working knowledge of leading generative AI image and video platforms
Understand model capabilities, strengths, and limitations
Guide prompt direction and output evaluation without owning day‑to‑day generation
Apply strong principles of composition, framing, pacing, and cinematic storytelling
Identify when outputs meet creative standards and when further refinement is required
Elevate AI results beyond default or templated outputs
Partner closely with production teams to ensure deliverables are viable and scalable
Present AI‑driven creative approaches with clarity and confidence
Articulate how AI tools are applied to achieve creative and business objectives
Build trust in AI‑enabled production methods
Qualifications
What You Bring
12‑14 years in creative direction, film, motion, or digital content
Strong cinematic eye and proven visual storytelling expertise
Experience working with generative AI tools in real production environments
Ability to lead and mentor creative talent
Clear understanding of production realities and delivery requirements
Strong communication and presentation skills
Bonus
Experience launching AI‑powered campaigns
Hybrid background across live‑action, motion, or digital production
Experience operating in fast‑paced agency or content environments

Compensation Range: $159,695 - $255,645 This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
