The Engineering Technical Writer supports the Principal Integration Program Manager (PIPM) and Integration Program Managers (IPMs) to develop and maintain technical documentation for multiple integration projects/programs.Principal Responsibilities:Develop and Maintain a project/program Documentation Management PlanCoordinate regular review and update of program documentationChange/Content Management of program policy and requirements documents across multiple projects/programsReview/Edit engineering and acquisition documents and briefings to produce clear and concise materialValidate documentation/briefing content to ensure accuracy and version controlManage Quality Assurance reviews of developed documents and briefingsManage review feedback of documents across multiple projects/programs, capturing revisions and suggestions for future developmentCoordinate leadership review and approval of documentation and briefingsActively participate in technical and programmatic meetings to provide status and define technical documentation development requirements and milestonesSkills:Proficient in:Creation of technical documentation in Aerospace and Defense (for DoD)Technical WritingVersion control, Change/Content Management principles and formatDocumentation/Presentation tools, including MS Office, AcrobatStrong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community both verbally and in writingMulti-taskingFamiliar with:Agile Development fundamentals, structure and procedure of agile ceremony meetingsWorking knowledge of US Navy and Department of Defense terminology and acronymsMilitary exposure and experience, particularly with military technical documentation writing and formatting standards, guidelines, and verbiageRequirements:Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field of study and 3+ years of relevant work experienceSecurity Clearance: Top Secret with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI)Work Environment:Work to be performed at NAVWAR Old Town classified spaceBOARHOG BENEFITS:Boarhog has 13 years of defense industrial base steady, controlled growth and profitability, offering our full-time associates a remarkable compensation package, including:Very competitive salary and opportunities for additional compensation.Greater Self-Determination100% coverage of medical/dental/vision health premiums.Company 401K contribution.Vacation.Health savings account.Stipend for residing in a HUBZone location (https://maps.certify.sba.gov/hubzone/map).Relocation or small signing bonus and earned performance bonus.We thrive in a welcoming culture within a completely flat organization, with a demonstrated vested interest in associates' personal and professional goals and aspirations, taking pride in the resulting exceedingly low associate turnover rate.
