La position
Group Communications is responsible for creating a lasting positive image of Roche and representing the company’s voice at a Group level. We communicate Roche’s strategy and how we deliver on our purpose of “Doing now what patients need next” to Roche colleagues and external audiences.
The Sites Network Communications (SNC) team protects and builds Roche's reputation by delivering clear, impactful communication across our sites. Our team bridges the gap between local site needs and global objectives.
As the Associate Communications Manager for Sites Network Communications Switzerland (SNC CH) in Rotkreuz, your job is to engage and inform our internal and external audiences. You will translate business objectives into stories and communications efforts that resonate with our local teams and partners. As a member of the SNC team, you are part of a global community that thrives on collaboration and sharing what works. Together, we shape and protect our company’s reputation through strategic, proactive communications — informing and inspiring our colleagues and employees.
The Opportunity:
Communications Execution: Support the implementation of communication plans derived from the Group and Site Rotkreuz vision, in alignment with the Sites Network’s overarching objectives. Maintain and update communication materials, ensuring all assets are consistent with organizational objectives.
Content Creation: Identify relevant topics for our stakeholders at the Rotkreuz site and across the Sites Network, translating them into engaging content for internal and external audiences. Tailor messaging in both German and English across internal, external, and digital platforms. Align all communication activities, materials, and messaging with organizational objectives and the company's brand identity.
Channel Management and Coordination: Manage the day-to-day operations of our internal and external digital channels. Distribute content and use established measurement tools to track performance and report on engagement metrics.
Stakeholder Coordination: Proactively build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as Site & Services leaders, project leads, subject matter experts, Sites Network Communications, and the broader Group Communications team.
Crisis and Issues Support: Support the Local Emergency Team by preparing templates, monitoring channels, and supporting the rollout of approved messaging during an issue or crisis to help protect the company’s reputation.
Who You Are
You are an excellent team player with high integrity, strong listening skills, and the ability to build positive relationships across diverse teams
You possess digital literacy across multiple platforms and AI tools
You are interested in using technology and data to track engagement and support the analysis of communication performance
You are resilient and work effectively in a fast-paced environment while handling sensitive topics with discretion

You have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines while working on multiple assignments
Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in communications, with a focus on internal communications
Fluency in German (min. C2 level) and English (verbal and written)
Primary location is Rotkreuz; 2 days onsite per week
