Social Media Marketing Manager, Amazon Leo

Amazon, Bellevue, WA, USA

Pay: $82,700-$137,900/yr

Job type: Full Time

Description
Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

Amazon Leo is looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to own the day-to-day execution of Leo's social media program across X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. This is a content-forward, hands‑on‑keyboard role. You will spend the majority of your time creating, publishing, and optimizing social content while also managing the operational systems that keep the program running at launch scale across global markets.

You are fast, sharp, and operationally disciplined. You write strong copy, produce short‑form video, and publish content daily, but you also manage the content calendar, own the Sprinklr publishing workflow, coordinate with agency partners, and surface performance data that shapes what comes next. You see the moment, pitch the idea, make the content, and get it live before the window closes.

This role reports into the Sr. Social Media Manager and cross‑functional marketing stakeholders to execute Leo's social content program during one of the most visible launches in Amazon's history.

Key job responsibilities
Content Creation & Publishing (~70% of role)

Produce weekly social content across X, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube — including static posts, carousels, short‑form video (Reels, Shorts, Stories), threads, and infographics.

Script and produce short‑form video; coordinate with design and agency for motion graphics and post‑production.

Write copy that translates complex satellite technology into clear, engaging, human language.

Monitor trends daily and produce reactive content on same‑day timelines.

Own the Sprinklr publishing workflow end‑to‑end — QA, formatting, tagging, link tracking, scheduling — with zero‑error execution.

Program Operations & Coordination (~30% of role)

Manage Leo's 30‑day rolling content calendar across all sources (in‑house, agency, cross‑functional).

Serve as day‑to‑day operational contact with the agency partner on content handoffs and quality standards.

Pull weekly performance data and surface actionable insights on top‑ and bottom‑performing content.

Support community engagement during high‑volume launch moments; elevate per response protocol.

Maintain the content asset library and collaborate with Product Marketing, PR, and regional teams on content alignment.

Export Control Requirement
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Basic Qualifications

4+ years of professional non‑internship marketing experience.

Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.

Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).

Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns.

Experience managing or working within cross‑functional marketing and creative teams.

Experience delivering paid media campaigns spanning TV, print ads and digital/social channels.

Experience across affiliate marketing, PPC, SEM and social media advertising.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in multi‑territory campaign management.

Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process.
