Overview
The Game Designer is involved in the development of new game concepts and is responsible for the creation and verification of all mathematical calculations for those games.
What You’ll Do
Participates in the creation and review of original mathematical models, new game themes and concepts for electronic gaming slot machines.
Reviews game software during development to verify game play and all game elements are of high quality.
Works with other designers in conducting and verifying mathematical calculations.
Creates and maintains all documents and files required for game development and submission to external regulators.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, in specific area or related field
Requires a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in game design and development
Strong understanding of mathematical concepts in gaming
Proven track record creating game concepts and math models
Key contributor in the design and development of successful core and entertainment products
Ability to work in teams, with managers and able to collaborate with creative and technical fields
Thinks big and adapts to change in a creative environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Dedicated, responsible and diligent person who can multi-task and deliver high quality work on time
Proficiency in Excel, Word and Visual Studio
Salary
$83,300 - $154,700 per year
