CivicScience is seeking a high-impact Director, Brand and Agency Sales to spearhead our revenue growth in the Chicago market. In this senior-level, individual contributor role, you will be the primary evangelist for our suite of advertising and data solutions, leveraging our unique position in the market to drive net-new revenue across Display, OLV, CTV, and Native channels, while positioning our high-value differentiators—including custom audiences, brand lift studies, and proprietary research insights—to the world’s most sophisticated agencies and brand advertisers.
Responsibilities
- Leverage established relationships with agencies and brands in the greater Chicago area across investment, strategy, and programmatic teams.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create and lead an account plan that will exceed revenue goals for your territory.
- Possess a strong understanding of business challenges and market dynamics across the AdTech/MarTech landscape.
- Work with internal client activation teams to manage ad campaigns, ensuring delivery on campaign goals and exceeding client expectations.
- Drive a positive customer experience and nurture relationships that create new and incremental upsell opportunities.
- Develop and manage territory forecasts that accurately project revenue throughout the entire sales cycle.
- Provide management with client feedback and industry knowledge, enabling investments in product development to meet the future needs of our clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years experience with a proven track record of success selling to agencies and advertisers across multiple sectors
- AdTech experience in first- and third-party audience targeting and technology, DSPs, online measurement, and/or delivery and measurement platforms
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple client/stakeholder deadlines simultaneously
- Experience using CRM and prospecting tools such as Hubspot and LinkedIn
- Effective time-management skills
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)

This is a remote (work from home) role with flexibility and autonomy. Candidates must reside within the Central Time Zone in the greater Chicago, Illinois area. Target base salary range: $125,000 - $150,000. At CivicScience, we determine OTE based on a variety of factors including experience, specialized skills, and customized bonus package.
