Overview
Director - Portfolio Management will be involved with acquisitions, development management and asset management operations on an expanding LIHTC and Section 8 portfolio in the Northeast, reporting to the CFO.

Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the management of a diverse affordable property portfolio to ensure operational excellence and financial performance.
- Work closely with C‑Suite leaders on new acquisitions and deals and partner with asset management.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance property value and tenant satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate property performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations across all managed properties.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including tenants, vendors, and investors.
- Oversee budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting for the property portfolio.
- Stay informed about market trends and provide recommendations for property acquisitions or disposals.
Qualifications
- A strong background in portfolio oversight, development and asset management within the LIHTC/Section 8 affordable housing space.
- Comprehensive knowledge of property operations, financial management, and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills to guide and develop property management teams.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for portfolio growth and optimization.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and negotiate agreements.
