In this exciting role, the Director of Access and Experience Marketing will have a significant impact on the continued and future success of our U.S. business and adult patients living with obstructive HCM. You will be responsible for leading the development and execution of healthcare professional (HCP) and patient marketing efforts across patient support, REMS, and access for MYQORZO (Aficamten). Collaboration with key functions such as HCP marketing, patient marketing, Treatment Experience, Trade, Sales, Analytics, and Training will be critical to your success in this position. This role reports to the Senior Director of HCP & Patient Experience Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of insight‑driven HCP and patient promotional efforts for patient support, REMS, and market access.
- Partner closely with promotional agency and market research vendors, ensuring on‑strategy and on‑time delivery and managing the agency budget for cost‑effective delivery.
- Collaborate closely with customer‑facing colleagues, Treatment Experience, and Global Value Access & Distribution (GVAD) to quickly identify and address business‑critical opportunities to support patient access to therapy.
- Coordinate closely with the omni‑channel marketing lead to optimize the customer engagement ecosystem.
- Develop and track metrics to measure and ensure success of marketing/promotional programs.
- Partner with market research and analytics to develop customer insights that inform decision‑making.
- Liaise closely with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance to execute brand tactics efficiently and compliantly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
- 10–12 years of pharmaceutical marketing or relevant experience required.
- Previous experience in Rare Disease or Cardiology preferred.
- Strong functional knowledge of payer coverage, patient support programs, and/or ETASU REMS programs a plus.
- High‑level strategic thinking with the ability to translate customer insights into actionable marketing strategy.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, demonstrated ability to be a proactive thinker and to embody a solution‑oriented mindset.
- Proven self‑starter, able to work independently and handle a full workload across multiple projects.
- Collaborates seamlessly across functions to build effective working relationships and align on strategy and execution.
- In‑depth familiarity with pharmaceutical manufacturer compliance requirements, HIPAA regulations, and federal regulations.
Hybrid role; 3 days in office required. This position requires approximately 25% travel.
Pay Range
In the U.S., the hiring pay range for fully qualified candidates is $225,000 – $262,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
