Marketing Officer

Marketing Officer Bilingual Japanese
International Banking organization seeks a Marketing Officer Bilingual Japanese to ensure efficient processing of loans, time deposits, foreign exchange and funds transfer, and support senior team members in training junior staff. The role requires compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Serve as a liaison between account officers, related departments in the US, Tokyo head office, and clients, ensuring timely and accurate execution of financial transactions such as loans, time deposits and foreign exchange deals.

Coordinate activities with other departments and investigate and resolve complex operational problems.

Open and close accounts, handle modifications, and prepare required documents for system registration.

Provide quality service to the bank's clients primarily over telephone and e‑mail, working closely with Account Officers.

Assist the Group Head and senior members in training junior staff.

Qualifications - Nice to Have

Experience with banking products such as specialized lending products and traditional transaction structuring procedures.

Ability to understand credit analysis and proposals.

Basic banking compliance knowledge.

Excellent communication and strong analytical skills.

Good organization, planning, team orientation and ability to understand others' perspectives, priorities and challenges.

Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access/databases.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree (preferably in Finance or Accounting) or three years of related business administration experience.

Bilingual (English/Japanese).
