We’re seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our powerhouse sales team and personally drive new business sales in auto, home, and life insurance. This is a pivotal leadership role where your passion for sales and your ability to inspire others will directly fuel our continued success and expansion.

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, and guide a high-performing sales team. Set clear, ambitious production and service goals, monitor results, and hold the team accountable to consistently achieve and exceed targets.

Manage a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed your individual quotas in auto, home, and life insurance. Your personal sales performance is integral to the agency’s continued growth.

Develop and execute strategic marketing and sales initiatives that generate qualified leads and convert prospects into loyal customers.

Provide personalized, needs-based guidance that builds trust, strengthens retention, and supports long-term client relationships.

Oversee agency processes and compliance to maintain an efficient environment that enables your team to focus on sales.

Handle complex customer interactions professionally and foster a positive, productive office culture focused on results and collaboration.

Effectively juggle multiple priorities and responsibilities, maintaining focus and composure while managing a busy workload that includes sales leadership, customer interactions, and operational oversight.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience with a track record of exceeding quotas, plus 5+ years managing a team. Demonstrate a history of leading a team to achieve results.

Motivated by results and lead with a competitive spirit. Skilled at coaching and pushing the team to outperform.

Skilled at uncovering needs and delivering solutions that fit.

Works independently but thrives in a collaborative environment, balancing personal production with team leadership.

Positive energy, motivated to grow with the agency. Must be money motivated.

Ability to work independently with limited supervision, while maintaining positive staff relationships within a team work environment.

Able to obtain Property and Casualty License.

Able to obtain Life and Health License.

Compensation & Benefits

Paid time off (holidays and personal/sick days)

$45,000 - $55,000 Annual Base Pay + uncapped commissions & bonuses

Base pay is determined by interview & experience level
