Overview
Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high‑speed, high‑bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs worldwide. We currently seek an Account Manager to join our team in Santa Clara, CA.
Summary
The Account Manager will focus on customer advocacy, acting as the voice of the customer within Amphenol and the voice of Amphenol to external customers. The role involves building relationships with external customers and coordinating with internal functions such as Product Managers and Project Management. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent verbal and written English skills, teamwork, and the ability to learn quickly. Resilience, detail orientation, and the capability to work under pressure are essential. Performance will be measured against established annual objectives and stakeholder feedback.
Responsibilities
Know customers and their projects/products, understand critical demand and business environment.
Support customer activities and resolve delivery, quality, inventory, and demand issues in an international, time‑sensitive environment.
Handle requests from sales, customers, ODM/CMs, and production teams across multiple sites globally with a data‑driven and analytical approach.
Secure trustful monthly forecasts for key accounts and provide forecast analysis to ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
BS Degree in Marketing, Business, or related area.
3+ years of experience in Marketing, Customer Service, Sales, Planning, or Finance.
1+ year of experience in an electronic components manufacturing environment (preferred).
Advanced PC skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint, including V‑lookups and Pivot Tables.
Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: $68,320 – $104,400 annually, based on geographic location, industry experience, qualifications, and education. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage effective day 1, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paid holidays, life insurance, short‑/long‑term disability, and a matching 401(k). Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
