Internal Producer (Sales Executive)

About The Job: Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client to recruit for an Internal Producer (Sales Executive) to join their team. Our client is a leading provider of business insurance, employee health & benefits, and risk management solutions, partnering with organizations across North America to help them navigate complex and evolving workforce challenges. This is a sales-focused role centered on developing new business within employee health and benefits (EHB). The Internal Producer will focus on building relationships with business leaders and decision-makers, helping organizations design and implement competitive, cost-effective benefits strategies. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional looking to deepen their expertise in a complex, high-impact space.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive new business development within the employee health and benefits space
Build and maintain relationships with HR leaders, finance teams, and executive decision-makers
Lead consultative sales conversations focused on understanding client workforce needs and challenges
Identify opportunities to improve or optimize employee benefits programs through tailored solutions
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to design and deliver comprehensive benefit strategies
Manage and grow a pipeline of prospective clients through relationship-building and networking
Stay informed on industry trends, benefits strategies, and regulatory changes impacting employee health plans
Required Skills:
Proven track record in consultative or solution-based B2B sales
Experience working with or selling to HR, finance, or business leadership teams is a plus
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to build and maintain long-term, trust-based client relationships
Demonstrated success in understanding client needs and delivering value-driven solutions
Ability to learn and navigate complex products, offerings, and regulatory environments
Highly adaptable, with a customer-focused mindset and strong business acumen
Self-motivated with a drive to succeed in a performance-driven sales environment
