Responsibilities
This journalist will concentrate on producing deeply reported stories with a storyteller's touch and an eye for angles that promise context and accountability. They will work independently and collaboratively with other members of the projects team on long‑term investigations, including installments of the Uncovered series that shine a light on government corruption. The position requires the ability to work with others and to contribute to a team’s investigative efforts.
Qualifications
- You have a keen eye for critical stories that haven’t been told; stories that make a real difference in people’s lives.
- You have strong writing skills, a love of language and a constant desire to hone your craft.
- You still have the fierce, competitive edge of the underdog.
- You enjoy coaching and working with less experienced but enthusiastic journalists across our news organization.
