Creative Specialist
Full‑time, 12‑month position in Teal Nation Retail. 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Develop visually appealing and on‑brand designs for various merchandise items, including hard and soft goods, and deliver custom designs based on client requirements and project requests.
- Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high‑quality standards. Track project progress, communicate timelines with clients, and collaborate with other departments.
- Create brand and marketing templates for Teal Nation Retail as needed.
- Create realistic digital renderings and mockups of decorated merchandise to assist the sales team in the proof‑of‑concept phase.
- Provide support to all customers with any design‑related inquiries, updates, or issues, explaining design processes and product results to ensure customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom) for precision vector artwork or marketing templates and flyers.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design with experience in decoration of merchandise or marketing design. Experience using Embroidery Digitizing Software is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Must be able to produce files quickly in a fast‑paced environment, troubleshoot technical production issues (e.g., color‑matching discrepancies, optimizing complex vector paths for manufacturing), and balance long‑term projects with urgent marketing requests.
Employment Conditions
The Creative Specialist primarily operates in an office or open environment, performing long periods of sedentary work with high‑intensity focus on digital displays. Multiple interruptions may occur. Hours may vary depending on demand and time of year.
