Communications Manager
Lipscomb University's College of Entertainment and the Arts and its innovative production company Imagine House in Nashville Tennessee invites applications for a full-time Communications Manager, beginning June 2026.
Responsibilities
Work with the CEA/IH Executive Leadership Team to create a unified and compelling vision and voice for internal and external communications that will enhance the CEA/IH brand in Nashville while also helping the college achieve national recognition.
Design or coordinate the design of annual marketing and recruiting materials and merchandise for internal and external audiences.
Lead a faculty liaison team on all social media marketing and promotional efforts.
Curate content for CEA/IH TV and YouTube platforms.
Maintain the CEA/IH websites.
Manage a student communications leadership team that promotes the CEA/IH through admissions and marketing efforts.
Plan and participate in CEA/IH campus events and represent the college in the community.
Coordinate all efforts with University PR and Marketing.
Design a weekly CEA/IH e-blast that shares personal stories of students and faculty while promoting upcoming events.
Identify and update multiple core audience lists annually for all communications.
Work with the deans to create a consistent internal communication plan for faculty and students across the various programs in the college.
Co‑design various presentations for faculty, staff, and student meetings.
Director of CEA/IH Giving Day Responsibilities
Work with the Executive Leadership Team to refine annual strategies for growth.
Build faculty, staff, and student ambassador teams.
Create or coordinate the creation of content for the build‑up, day of activities, and post‑giving activities.
Plan, organize, and coordinate with the CEA’s advancement officer and the advancement office on all Giving Day logistics and requirements.
Additional Strategic Responsibilities
Additional strategic responsibilities will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and the CEA/IH’s needs, focusing on one or more of the following areas: film production, content creation, graphic design, marketing and promotional strategies, as well as networking and event planning. Working knowledge and use of tools such as Emma e‑communication platform, graphic design tools, and project management systems such as Basecamp, Monday, Google suite are a must. This position will produce outputs and outcomes related to specific CEA goals tied to admissions, public relations, fundraising and event promotions.
Reporting
The position reports directly to the dean and is part of the executive leadership team of the college.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a creative and/or marketing field.
Experience: 3+ years in a related industry with demonstrated success.
