Responsibilities



  • Lead video production for Vanity Fair, ensuring all content meets brand standards, creative expectations, and performance goals

  • Manage and mentor a team of approximately 5 producers and partner closely with VF’s Senior Producer in LA to guide day-to-day production and execution

  • Collaborate with Programming and Development teams to shape video strategy, launch new series, and evolve existing formats

  • Oversee production logistics, including team assignments, shoot planning, and resource allocation

  • Generate new content ideas and formats optimized across social and YouTube

  • Lead hiring, resourcing, and talent development across staff and freelance teams, building a strong network of top‑tier below‑the‑line crew and directors

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable, constructive feedback

  • Act as a key cross‑functional partner to editorial, marketing, and audience development teams


Requirements



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of experience in a fast‑paced production environment

  • Minimum 3 years of directing and/or content leadership experience

  • Proven experience managing and developing staff and freelance teams

  • Track record of leading cross‑functional teams and external partners

  • Strong understanding of production and post‑production workflows

  • Experience managing high‑volume content pipelines

The expected base salary range for this position is from $135,000–$155,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.


In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
