About the Role
The Senior UI/UX Designer is responsible for designing and executing high-quality onsite experiences that support customer engagement, product discovery, and conversion across the ecommerce journey. The right candidate can both shape and implement digital experiences, partnering closely with the Site Merchandising & Content Manager and cross-functional teams across growth, retention, creative, and development to deliver polished, customer‑centric, and performance‑driven web experiences.
We’re looking for someone who is both a strong digital designer and a hands‑on site executor, with experience in Shopify, landing pages, page design, and conversion‑minded UX.
Key Responsibilities
- Design user‑centered ecommerce experiences across homepage, collection pages, PDPs, landing pages, and other key site touchpoints
- Develop wireframes, mockups, user flows, and page layouts that support usability, visual clarity, product discovery, and conversion
- Execute site updates directly within Shopify and related CMS tools, including page builds, content updates, navigation enhancements, and merchandising support
- Create and maintain landing pages in partnership with growth and retention teams to support campaign and lifecycle initiatives
- Collaborate closely with the Site Merchandising & Content Manager to translate content and merchandising strategies into effective onsite experiences
- Maintain and optimize rich content modules, including UGC video carousels and other interactive content components
- Ensure a strong mobile‑first experience and consistent visual hierarchy across key site journeys
- Support launch readiness through detailed QA and site review processes
- Use site performance data and user behavior insights to identify opportunities for ongoing UX and conversion optimization
- Contribute to scalable design and execution best practices across the ecommerce experience

- Site updates and launches are executed accurately and efficiently
- Product and CMS setup are well‑managed and less reactive
- Landing pages are built quickly and effectively in partnership with growth and retention
- Onsite experiences feel more cohesive, polished, and conversion‑oriented
- The eCommerce team has stronger day‑to‑day support for site management and optimization
Ideal Background
- 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, digital product design, web design, or ecommerce design
- Strong portfolio showcasing high‑quality digital experiences, ideally within consumer or ecommerce environments
- Demonstrated understanding of ecommerce best practices, responsive design, mobile‑first design, and UX principles
- Shopify experience required
- Experience executing directly in a CMS environment
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills and comfort working with merchandising, growth, retention, creative, and development teams
- Detail‑oriented with a strong sense of ownership and execution qualityComfortable using performance data and customer behavior insights to inform design improvements
- Nice to have: Headless or Hydrogen experience, bonus points for working with CMS tools, i.e. Sanity, Pack Digital, Contentful, etc
- Bonus points for experience managing + working on an app.
