Position Overview:

The

US Marketing Activation Lead

is responsible for executing Nordica's seasonal marketing campaigns across the United States. Reporting to the North American Marketing & Communications Manager, this role turns North American Go-To-Market strategy into strong domestic execution across U.S. retail, trade, event, and consumer-facing programs.

This role is ideal for a hands-on marketing professional who can manage multiple workstreams, align agency and internal partners, and deliver high-quality programs on time. The US Marketing Activation Lead drives campaign rollout, trade activation, event support, and creative coordination, ensuring that U.S. marketing initiatives are executed with consistency, organization, and strong market relevance.

General Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Campaign Execution & Market Support

Execute seasonal marketing campaigns in alignment with NorAm GTM strategy and international brand direction.
Localize global campaign assets for retail, trade, and consumer use while maintaining brand consistency.
Manage campaign calendars, project timelines, and deliverables across U.S. marketing initiatives.
Lead coordination and execution of U.S. sales meetings, tradeshows, and brand events.
Retail & Trade Marketing

Lead execution of U.S. retail and trade marketing programs, including POP, SWAG, dealer support tools, and seasonal sell-in/sell-through materials.
Coordinate execution of CO-OP and Strategic Account marketing needs, including briefs, assets, timelines, and deliverables, in close partnership with Sales and the NorAm Marketing & Communications Manager. Commercial ownership, account direction, and budget decisions remain with Sales leadership and the NorAm Marketing & Communications Manager.
Serve as the primary marketing project manager for approved account initiatives, ensuring clear handoffs, aligned deliverables, and strong follow-through.
Creative Coordination & Asset Management

Serve as the day-to-day lead with Nordica's creative agency, managing briefs, timelines, reviews, and production flow.
Coordinate content and creative deliverables needed to support campaigns, retail activation, and events.
Own Nordica's digital asset management process for U.S. marketing, including intake and organization of campaign and athlete imagery, ensuring assets are organized, accessible, and ready for use across teams and partners.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operational Support

Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications Specialist to ensure content readiness and executional alignment.
Partner with the National Competitions Manager to integrate athlete and grassroots activations into broader campaign programming.
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and International Brand teams to support cohesive U.S. market execution and storytelling.
Track U.S. marketing spend, process vendor invoices, maintain accurate budget records, and support budget reporting for the NorAm Marketing & Communications Manager.
Experience/Capabilities:

3+ years of direct marketing experience in the ski and/or outdoor industry.
Managing strategies in the areas of advertising, creative, communications, digital and social media, sports marketing, partner marketing, trade marketing, cause marketing and retail marketing.
Experience working with international brand and teams is preferred.
Proven track record of success.
Clear and persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of the Alpine skiing community.
Professional demeanor.
Ability to contribute to strategic conversations about current issues within our industry.
Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of MS Office software, with a strong command of MS Excel. Advanced use or marketing automation programs and CRM tools. Adobe Suite experience (Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design).

Strong understanding of the alpine skiing community
Ability to multi-task and effectively manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment; ability to work independently but also performs well in team environments.

Physical Requirements:

Requires occasional travel. General administrative tasks include sitting or standing at a desk, typing and use of computer. May require periods of standing and/or walking within office or distribution facility. May require some lifting (up to 50 lbs. routinely, 75-100 lbs. occasionally).
