What You'll Do

Program & Operations Leadership
Oversee daily pantry operations, including client intake, registration, and service delivery
Ensure a welcoming, efficient, and dignified experience for all clients
Track program performance, analyze data, and implement improvements aligned with organizational goals
Team & Volunteer Leadership

Supervise Pantry Coordinators and volunteers, ensuring strong coverage and team alignment
Lead training, coaching, and performance conversations to support team development
Step in as needed to support day-to-day operations and ensure seamless service
Inventory & Facility Management

Manage pantry inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and consistent stock levels
Partner cross-functionally to align inventory with client needs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility environment
Community Engagement & Resource Coordination

Build partnerships with local organizations to expand support services beyond food
Connect clients with additional resources and track outcomes
Collaborate across internal teams to maximize impact and service delivery
Compliance & Reporting

Ensure adherence to program regulations and reporting requirements
Conduct audits and maintain accurate records to support compliance standards
Communicate updates and ensure team alignment on policies and procedures
What You Bring

3-5+ years of experience in nonprofit program management, community services, or similar environments
1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions
Experience with inventory systems and client data platforms (preferred)
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic, service-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Background in food distribution, public health, social services, or community programs
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Additional Details

Schedule:

Tuesday-Saturday (8:30am-5pm, with occasional overtime, late nights, or weekend shifts needed based on business needs)
Location:

Vista, CA
Compensation:

$30-$33/hr (W-2, with benefits eligibility)
Requirements:

Valid driver's license with access to a personal vehicle for local travel within San Diego County; ability to work in a warehouse/office hybrid setting; Food handler's Certificate (training provided upon hire); Forklift Certified (training provided upon hire)
