The Timonium office of Ultimate Staffing is recruiting a

Social Media Specialist

to support one of our clients in building and engaging virtual communities across social platforms.

This role focuses on driving brand awareness, customer engagement, website traffic, and revenue by strategically executing a comprehensive social media marketing roadmap.

What You'll Do

Build and execute social media strategy using competitive research, platform selection, benchmarking, messaging, and audience targeting

Create, edit, publish, and share daily content (text, graphics, video, HTML) that drives engagement and action

Set up and optimize company profiles across platforms to increase visibility and reach

Actively engage in relevant online conversations on behalf of the brand, using a "soft-sell" approach through value-driven interactions

Moderate user-generated content in accordance with established community guidelines

Develop editorial calendars and content syndication schedules

Track, analyze, and report on social metrics to continuously improve performance

Collaborate with internal teams (sales, customer service, marketing) to manage brand reputation and coordinate outreach

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist

Strong writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills

Hands-on experience with social platforms and social analytics tools

Working knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO

Solid understanding of digital and online marketing channels

Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to multitask effectively

Professional, positive attitude (no drama-just results)

Fluency in English

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations
