Audio Engineer

Owning the technical aspects of audio production, the remote Audio Engineer will manage the end-to-end audio signal chain and post-processing pipeline, ensuring consistent quality across various recording conditions and languages.
Key responsibilities

Own the end-to-end audio signal chain and post-processing pipeline for all collection programs
Define and document technical specifications, including sample rates, bit depth, and loudness targets
Build technical QA processes to validate audio against specifications before delivery

Required qualifications

Strong audio engineering background with experience in signal chain, recording, and post-processing
Deep understanding of audio technical specifications and the ability to enforce them
Experience ensuring consistent audio quality across varied recording conditions
Familiarity with scripting for audio processing pipelines, preferably in Python
Knowledge of speech quality metrics and their impact on AI model performance
