We’re seeking a Managing Director to lead Barnsley Resort, bringing vision, energy, and operational excellence to an already exceptional guest experience. This is an opportunity to take the helm of a distinctive property, elevate performance, activate every facet of the resort, and inspire a high-performing team to deliver memorable, personalized experiences.

The Managing Director serves as the strategic and operational leader of the resort, responsible for driving financial performance, enhancing the guest journey, and fostering a culture rooted in service excellence and accountability. This role requires a balance of big-picture thinking and hands-on leadership, with a strong focus on revenue growth, financial accuracy, and full activation of resort amenities and experiences.

What You Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred

5+ years of experience as a General Manager in a resort environment

Strong financial acumen with proven success managing budgets, revenue, and expenses

Demonstrated ability to drive profitability and operational performance

Exceptional leadership and team development skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities; able to effectively partner with ownership, corporate teams, and on-property leaders

Strategic mindset with the ability to think big while executing tactically

Proven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and activating resort amenities

What You’ll Do:

Oversee all aspects of resort operations, including rooms, food & beverage, sales and marketing, finance, and human resources

Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve financial and operational goals

Drive revenue growth and ensure strong financial performance and accuracy

Foster a culture of service excellence, accountability, and employee engagement

Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of department leaders

Ensure consistent execution of brand standards and operational quality

Build and maintain strong relationships with ownership, investors, and key stakeholders

Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and stay ahead

Champion the full activation of resort amenities and experiences to enhance the guest journey
