Saatchi & Saatchi Heatlh is looking for a VP, Brand Strategy to join our team in New York.
As a VP, Brand Strategy, you will lead the development of brand and communications strategies that drive meaningful engagement across audiences and channels. You will partner closely with cross-functional agency teams and clients to uncover insights, define positioning, and shape integrated campaign platforms that deliver against business goals.
This role requires a strong strategic voice, the ability to synthesize complex information into clear direction, and a deep understanding of how brands connect with consumers and healthcare professionals in today’s landscape. You will play a key role in guiding creative development, shaping brand narratives, and elevating the strategic product across accounts.
Responsibilities
Lead development of brand strategy, positioning, and integrated communications plans across key accounts
Translate business objectives, market dynamics, and audience insights into actionable strategic frameworks and creative briefs
Partner with creative, account, and analytics teams to develop cohesive, insight-driven campaigns across channels
Drive thought leadership around brand building, behavior change, and engagement across consumer and HCP audiences
Present strategic recommendations to senior clients with confidence and clarity
Mentor and guide junior strategists while contributing to a strong strategic culture within the agency
Collaborate across agency partners and disciplines to deliver best-in-class integrated work
Key Competencies
Strong experience in brand strategy within an agency or consulting environment, ideally within healthcare or wellness
Deep understanding of brand positioning, audience insight development, and integrated marketing
Ability to connect data, cultural trends, and customer insights into compelling strategic narratives
Experience leading cross-channel campaigns (digital, social, media, content, etc.)
Excellent communication and storytelling skillsCollaborative mindset with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Qualifications
Background / Experience:
10+ years of experience in brand strategy, marketing strategy, or related discipline
Experience working on pharmaceutical, healthcare, or wellness brands strongly preferred
Proven ability to lead strategy on complex, multi-stakeholder accounts

Compensation Range: $129,485 - $207,324 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third‑party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
