Position Summary
We are seeking a

Remote UAS Pilot (1099 Contractor)

to support live drone operations from our Remote Security Operations Center (RSOC). You will be directly responsible for executing real-time flight missions, partnering with field teams, and ensuring safe, compliant, and effective deployment of UAS assets.

What You Will Do

Own the end-to-end execution of remote flight operations from the RSOC

Pilot UAS platforms in compliance with FAA regulations and DXD operating procedures

Monitor live mission data and make real‑time decisions to support operational objectives

Coordinate with onsite personnel and ground teams for aligned, effective mission execution

Maintain accurate and timely flight logs, documentation, and incident reporting

Partner with operations leadership to improve mission performance, safety, and efficiency

Operate with discipline and accountability in a high‑tempo, real‑time environment

About You

FAA Part 107 current & recertified

(required)

High ownership with the ability to operate independently and with minimal oversight

Thrives in fast‑paced, mission‑critical environments

Strong situational awareness and sharp attention to detail

Flexible and available for varying day and night shifts

Reliable connectivity and ability to operate within a remote command environment

Preferred Experience

Commercial or professional UAS/drone operations experience

Familiarity with ground control systems and payload technologies

Background in public safety, security operations, inspections, or defense environments
