Summary
The

Video Producer

will manage the production of video projects for APS and Pinnacle West covering a wide range of purposes including training, recruiting, marketing, internal and external communications, and social media. Coordinates and oversee production tasks with various parties and stakeholders including APS employees, internal and contracted resources, 3rd party vendors and external agencies (advertisement agencies, TV stations
etworks, publications, web sources).

Bachelor's degree in Video or Film Production, Videography, Broadcast Communications or related field

Five (5) years experience in video production or related field

In lieu of degree, a total of nine (9) years of relevant combined education and experience in film production, videography, or broadcast communications.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using video production and editing tools (e.g. Adobe Premiere and After Effects).

Hands‑on experience with core video production activities such as scripting, shooting, and editing.

Knowledge of HD video formats and production technologies.

Experience producing corporate media such as interviews, training, and testimonial content.

Ability to manage people and coordinate resources effectively.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and internet-based tools.

Major Accountabilities

Oversee the end‑to‑end video production lifecycle, including pre‑production, production and post‑production activities. Responsibilities include managing pre‑production planning; script development and selection; casting and staging; coordinating production elements such as camera, lighting, audio, directing, and support resources; and overseeing post‑production editing and visual effects through final product release. Maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality as required.

Produce and deliver video content across digital, social and broadcast platform.

Coordinate and oversee production activities with internal stakeholders, contracted resources, third‑party vendors and external agencies (e.g. advertisement agencies, broadcasters, publications, web partners).

Manage projects to defined budgets, schedules, and quality standards.

Partner cross‑functionally with a corporate environment to translate business and functional requirements into effective media solutions.

Develop creative concepts for individual segments and complete productions.

Conduct interviews and lead script development and other production elements.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Employees are expected to reside in Arizona (or New Mexico for Four Corners‑based employees).

Working from a home office requires adequate technology and an appropriate ergonomic set up.
