Morning & Noon Anchor/Producer – KGWN

We’re looking for a motivated, self-starter to join our award-winning news team as an Anchor/Producer. This is a terrific opportunity for someone eager to learn and grow in the broadcast industry without the high‑stakes presser of a larger market.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but not limited to)

Co‑produce and anchor morning newscast, then producer and anchor Noon newscast

Enterprise story ideas that matter to viewers

Meet tight daily deadlines for broadcast while helping to post web/digital content in a timely manner

Respond urgently and appropriately to breaking and developing news

Knowledge of non-linear video editing programs is a plus

Excellent communication skills – Flexibility in scheduling, to respond to the changing news landscape

Be a leader in the newsroom

Qualification/Requirements

A degree in journalism or a related field, or equivalent experience

Valid Driver’s License required

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay: From $16 per hour (Overtime when approved)

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
