Position Summary
We are looking for a driven
Sales Manager / Mentor
to lead our sales team while continuing to sell at a high level. This is a true player-coach position — you will manage, train, and mentor our sales representatives while maintaining a strong personal sales pipeline and hitting monthly revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Management
Lead, coach, and manage a team of sales representatives (in-home and canvassing)
Set performance standards, track KPIs, and hold regular one-on-one coaching sessions
Recruit, hire, and onboard new sales talent
Run daily sales huddles, role-playing sessions, and ongoing training workshops
Personal Sales Performance
Actively generate and close high-value jobs (average project size $8,000 – $45,000+)
Conduct in-home sales presentations, roof inspections, and accurate measurements
Deliver professional proposals and financing options to homeowners
Consistently meet or exceed personal monthly sales targets
Mentorship & Training
Build and deliver a structured sales training program for new hires and veterans
Teach proven techniques in canvassing, lead qualification, objection handling, financing presentations, and closing
Ride along with reps in the field and provide real-time coaching and feedback
Help reps improve performance and develop top producers
Operations & Process
Ensure smooth handoff of sold jobs to the Operations Production team
Maintain high customer satisfaction and quality standards
Utilize CRM (JobNimbus / AccuLynx or similar) for pipeline management and reporting
Collaborate on marketing and lead-generation strategies
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
3+ years of successful in-home sales experience in roofing, siding, windows, or home improvement
Previous sales management or team lead experience strongly preferred
Proven track record closing $1M+ in annual personal sales
Strong knowledge of exterior home products and installation processes
Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Valid Minnesota driver’s license with a clean driving record or another state valid drivers license
Comfortable climbing ladders and performing roof inspections
Preferred Skills
Experience with CRM systems and sales technology
Familiarity with consumer financing programs
Natural ability to motivate and develop a sales team
Competitive, driven, high-energy mindset
Compensation & Benefits
Uncapped commission (OTE $160K–$250K+ based on performance)
