Reliability Test Technician

Our client, Russell, Tobin & Associates, is seeking a

Reliability Test Technician

in

San Francisco, CA (Onsite)

for a

Contract – 2+ months

position, with a pay rate of $60/hr – $65/hr, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Execute system- and component-level reliability tests for autonomous robotic platforms and document findings for root cause analysis.

Work with electronics, sensors, actuators, and structural components to support validation and troubleshooting activities.

Develop and maintain detailed test procedures, reports, and lab documentation to ensure repeatability and process consistency.

Operate and maintain lab equipment including environmental chambers, vibration tables, DAQ systems, and shop tools.

Support field testing and collaborate cross-functionally to improve test specifications and system performance.

Requirements

5+ years of hands‑on experience in robotics, automotive, mechanical, electrical, or related technical environments.

Experience with environmental testing equipment, soldering, crimping, cable management, and lab/shop tools.

Working knowledge of Linux and CAD software such as SolidWorks or Onshape.

Ability to read schematics and datasheets accurately and work in a hands‑on lab or warehouse environment.
