Job Description/Responsibilities
Position Summary:

The Bottling Technician is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of bottling line equipment, including bottle fillers, cappers, uncasing systems, and case packing operations. This role ensures production efficiency, product quality, and adherence to safety standards while supporting and guiding temporary team members in the area.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor bottling line equipment, including fillers, cappers, uncasing, and case packing systems

Perform equipment changeovers to support production needs

Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or operational issues in a timely manner

Conduct routine maintenance and assist with preventative maintenance tasks

Perform quality checks to ensure product meets company standards

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures

Provide guidance and direction to temporary employees supporting the line

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance

Ability to operate industrial equipment as required

Ability to move between workstations and production areas

Ability to work near moving mechanical parts

Comfortable working in wet and humid conditions (non-weather related)

Exposure to loud noise levels (hearing protection required)

Potential exposure to electrical components and associated risks

Ability to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed

Regular, reliable, in-person attendance required

Ability to read, write, and maintain accurate documentation

Qualifications/Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Required):

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Good physical condition, including ability to stand for extended periods, climb stairs/ladders, and perform repetitive movements (bending, kneeling, squatting)

Good vision and manual dexterity

Strong attention to detail

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience communicating across multiple levels of an organization

Completion of an apprenticeship program, technical school, or associate degree

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment (2+ years preferred)
