Location: Napa/Fairfield Territory (Hybrid)

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 (DOE)

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team!

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a top performing B2B sales leader who is passionate about making connections with people and driving new client relationships to drive exponential revenue. The BDM is a proven result-oriented sales leader and resourceful problem‑solver motivated by growth and impacting business results. This role requires a high degree of “selling”, whether of ideas and policies within the organization, and services in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

Drive revenue growth through individual sales efforts, pipeline management, and performance metrics

Prospect, promote, and sell services to new clients using cold calling and virtual outreach

Identify, develop, and nurture emerging markets, strategic prospects, and assigned accounts

Maintain a consistent and accurate sales pipeline and forecast against revenue goals

Prepare and deliver sales presentations that clearly communicate Star’s value and solutions

Partner with company executives to align team capabilities and drive profitable client outcomes

Work cross‑functionally with Marketing and Operations to support brand growth and customer retention

Build strong, long‑term client relationships by understanding business needs and delivering impact

Serve as a trusted advisor and primary escalation point for assigned accounts

Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities to expand account penetration

Track, analyze, and report on sales performance, client metrics, and revenue progress

Qualifications

2+ Years proven Sales Experience

Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Understanding of industry trends and market dynamics

Strong negotiation/communication skills

Self‑confident, extroverted style that can enliven, engage and positively impact individuals and groups

Proficient with Microsoft Office suite

Familiarity with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) a plus
