How You Will Contribute To The Team
Americas regional focal point: serve as the primary communications interface for Americas leadership, adapt global messaging for the regional audience, and manage local executive announcements.
Global execution: partner with the Marketing and Communications team to manage global social media channels, execute paid media advertising plans, and coordinate asset creation with external providers.
Americas internal communication: partner with HR to translate global corporate themes into impactful local initiatives that strengthen employee connection and brand pride within the Americas.
Global media monitoring & analysis: lead the global PR tracking and measurement process, monitor coverage across all regions and produce performance insight reports.
Americas employee advocacy: manage operations of the advocacy program, source and optimise content to empower staff to share the Satair story.
Global digital integration: work closely with the Digital Campaign Manager to align editorial content with digital marketing campaigns and web updates.
Strong organisational and project management skills with a proven track record of delivering high‑quality outputs on time while managing multiple workstreams.
Strategic adaptation skills: take global strategies and refine them to resonate with nuances of the US and LATAM markets.
Strong digital literacy, including experience with social media management and media monitoring tools.
High‑level stakeholder management skills and a can‑do attitude, proven ability to lead complex projects across multiple time zones.
About You
You’re equipped with a communications, marketing, or business degree (or comparable education) and 10+ years of experience in communications or related fields.
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field.
10+ years of experience in communications or related areas.
Availability for occasional travel (one yearly international trip and a couple of regional trips).
Exceptional writing skills and an eye for visual storytelling/asset coordination.
Preferred
Independent decision‑making: high autonomy; decide how to translate global directives into the Americas market.
Environment & Interfaces: interface daily with Global Hubs in Copenhagen and Hamburg; navigate cultural expectations while maintaining a one‑team approach.
Internationalisation & Change: decisions must account for diverse legal and cultural landscapes of US and LATAM markets.
Nature of Contacts: frequent contact with senior Americas leadership, negotiate with external vendors/agencies.
Strategic, Tactical, Operational mix: 20% strategic, 40% tactical, 40% operational responsibilities.
Impact: decisions directly impact brand reputation, employee engagement scores and ROI of global marketing spend.
Physical Requirements
Hybrid: 3 days per week onsite and 2 days per week remote.
Vision: able to see and read computer screens and documents.
Hearing: able to hear in meetings and teleconferences; hear safety warnings.
Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings.
Equipment operation: operate office and electronic equipment; some production tools.
Carrying: carry documents and equipment up to 30 lbs (14 kg).
Lifting: lift up to 30 lbs/14 kg.
Pushing / Pulling: push and pull small office furniture.
Sitting: sit for long periods in meetings or computer work.
Squatting / kneeling: retrieve items from low shelves.
Standing: stand during discussions in offices or production floor.
Travel: able to travel independently on short notice.
Walking: walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces.
Personal Protective Equipment: safety shoes, glasses, hearing protection, respirators, gloves as required.
