Position Summary
Southern Land Company, a national real estate development and construction firm headquartered in Nashville, TN, is seeking a full-time Marketing Manager, Single Family. The role focuses on executing marketing strategies across the company’s single-family portfolio, with an emphasis on Fairington, Westhaven, and other growth communities.

Primary Responsibilities
Execution & Day‑to‑Day Marketing Support

Support execution of marketing strategies across active and pipeline single-family communities.

Translate high-level direction into actionable campaigns, timelines, and deliverables.

Partner with onsite and regional teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality execution across all touchpoints.

Community Marketing & Sales Support

Support sales teams with marketing tools, collateral, digital campaigns, and sales center experience.

Assist in the development of community positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market materials.

Ensure marketing efforts directly support traffic, lead generation, and sales velocity goals.

SLC Homes & SLC Mortgage Collaboration

Work closely with SLC Homes to align marketing with product positioning, buyer profiles, and community storytelling.

Partner with SLC Mortgage to integrate financing messaging into campaigns and improve conversion across the buyer funnel.

Identify opportunities to create seamless, cross‑functional campaigns that connect homebuying and financing solutions.

Digital, CRM & Campaign Management

Coordinate execution of digital campaigns including paid media, email, website updates, and CRM touchpoints.

Manage vendors and internal teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and on brand.

Support optimization of website funnels, lead capture, and nurture strategies.

Brand, Creative & Content

Ensure all communities reflect Southern Land Company’s brand standards across signage, digital platforms, and collateral.

Coordinate production of creative assets including photography, video, and marketing materials.

Support storytelling efforts that elevate the lifestyle and differentiation of each community.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

Track and report on key performance metrics including leads, traffic, conversions, and campaign effectiveness.

Support weekly/monthly reporting for leadership with clear insights and recommendations.

Assist in managing community-level marketing budgets and ensuring efficient spend.

Community Launches & Ongoing Activation

Support marketing components of new community launches including naming, identity, and campaign rollout.

Assist in planning and execution of events, broker outreach, and local activations.

Help maintain momentum across stabilized and lease‑up communities through ongoing programming and campaigns.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with teams across sales, development, design, construction, and operations to align marketing with product and timing.

Serve as a connector between corporate marketing, regional teams, and external partners.

Coordinate with PR and agency partners to support broader brand and community visibility.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

Proven track record in Integrated Marketing Communications and New Development Residential Marketing.

Strong understanding of digital marketing including paid search, SEO, social media, Google Analytics, and website management.

ILS and Reputation Management experience.

Solid understanding of marketing analytics along with identifying historical data and trends.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience/understanding of Yardi, Engrain, Anyone Home, Peek, and Evolution software.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while maintaining professionalism and to handle confrontational situations with objectivity.

Outstanding writing, art‑direction skills, and a top‑tier creative orientation.

Leadership experience with a proven record of strategic growth initiatives.

Excellent organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and part of a team.

Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

5–8+ years of marketing experience, preferably in residential real estate, homebuilding, or related industry.

Strong understanding of digital marketing, CRM systems, and performance‑driven campaigns.

Experience supporting multi‑market or multi‑community marketing efforts.

Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Experience with platforms such as HubSpot, Meta, Google Analytics, and CRM tools preferred.

Willingness to travel (~30–40%) to support key markets and community needs.
