VP of Marketing

Soni is partnered with a fast-growing B2B SaaS company based in Franklin, TN and we're hiring our first VP of Marketing . This is a ground-floor opportunity to build a marketing function from scratch - own the strategy, execute the playbook, and hire your team. What you'll do

You'll own everything marketing - demand generation, brand, digital, content, and go-to-market - while directly supporting a rapidly growing Sales and Account Management team that needs pipeline now. Within your first year, you'll make 1-2 hires and build a lean, high-output team. You report directly to the CEO.

What we're looking for

You've built marketing at a startup with fewer than 50 employees - you know how to create something from nothing
You can do both: performance marketing and paid media AND brand positioning and creative direction
You use AI tools daily and deploy them across your team - this is table stakes, not a bonus
You understand product-led growth, lead scoring, and bottoms-up sales motion
You're a strong writer - positioning, copy, social, all of it
You're based in Middle Tennessee or ready to relocate - this role is Mon-Thu fully onsite in Franklin (non-negotiable), WFH Fridays
Bonus points if you have A track record as a founding marketing hire through a growth or exit trajectory
Experience with consumption or transaction-based B2B models (not traditional SaaS subscription)
B2B creator or influencer marketing experience
Helped scale a company past $100M in revenue
Compensation: $200,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
