The third New York City addition to the Kimpton portfolio, the striking tower features 529 guest rooms and inspires social spaces, including two full‑service restaurants, a lobby lounge and a rooftop bar. Additional amenities include a fitness center and two spaces to host unique meetings and social gatherings.

Overview
The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in bringing memorable guest experiences to life. In this dynamic, detail‑driven position, the Sales Coordinator will support the Sales Team in coordinating bookings, managing client communications, and ensuring seamless execution from inquiry to arrival. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, enjoy building relationships, and take pride in delivering exceptional service behind the scenes.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Prospecting & Lead Management

Qualify and sell hotel facilities and services to inbound inquiries and sales leads.

Assist with the preparation and processing of proposals, contracts, and addendums.

Conduct hotel tours and site inspections for clients to showcase property features.

Participate in sales blitzes to actively pursue new business and increase market share.

Maintain expert‑level knowledge of the competitive set’s sales practices and product to effectively position the hotel.

Client Relationship & Client Management

Build and maintain client loyalty through professional integrity and exceptional service.

Serve as a primary contact alongside the sales account owner once a contract is executed.

Manage communications and deadlines with clients from initial inquiry through completion to ensure total satisfaction.

Technical & Administrative Operations

Build and manage room blocks within the Sales & Catering System, CRS, and PMS, ensuring inventory accuracy.

Provide booking links to clients as necessary.

Process and enter reservations (Group, Contract, Crew, Business Transient) and facilitate any required routing/billing setups prior to any applicable cut‑off dates.

Coordinate with Finance and Operations for any payment and billing needs.

Adhere to all sales processes, including timely preparation and submission of internal reports and meetings.

Event Detailing & Execution

Create and assist with detailing BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) and Group Resumes for confirmed business.

Schedule and lead BEO/Resume meetings with property team weekly.

Coordinate with F&B/Banquet teams and ensure any pre‑event setup is aligned with client standards.

Support and coordinate between the group and internal departments during their stay to resolve any operational needs.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required, with preference for experience in a hotel or related field.

Preferred Experience

Luxury/Upper‑Upscale Lifestyle experience

3‑5 years of administrative or hotel experience

Skills

Exceptional communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, both written and oral.

Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Basic mathematical skills.

Attention to detail and excellent time‑management skills.

In‑depth knowledge of hospitality industry reporting, regulations, and best practices.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).

Strong understanding of sales systems (Delphi) preferred.

Property management systems (PMS) preferred.

Prior experience in housekeeping or a similar role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment, is a plus.

Typical Compensation Range

Hourly Rate: $28 – $34 per hour
