Affidavit Specialist

Pay Rate:

$18.00 – $18.50/hr, paid weekly.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Overtime as needed.

Overview

The Affidavit Specialist is responsible for processing customer and citizen inquiries received through email, mail, fax, and other communication channels. This role supports document processing, records management, and customer service functions while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of requests.

Key Responsibilities

Customer & Citizen Support

Respond to questions regarding notices, account status updates, hearings, payments, and next steps.

Provide requested documentation to customers and citizens in a timely and professional manner.

Deliver excellent customer service while handling sensitive or time-sensitive information.

Document & Mail Processing

Process and record documents related to liability claims, hearings, payments, and correspondence.

Open, sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail and documentation.

Maintain accurate records and ensure all information is properly documented.

Data Entry & Administrative Support

Process high volumes of requests while following company procedures, business rules, and applicable statutes.

Review and verify information for accuracy and completeness.

Support internal operational and administrative teams as needed.

Meet assigned service level agreements (SLAs) and productivity standards.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

Minimum of 1 year of data entry experience required.

Data entry speed of at least 40 WPM.

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Excel.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.

Professional demeanor with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Ability to adapt to both office and remote work environments.

Reliable transportation required.

Must be able to pass drug screening, background check, and fingerprinting.

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to review data and images on a computer monitor for extended periods, typically during 8-hour shifts.
