Adecco Creative & Marketing is partnering with a leading Fortune 100 financial services and technology organization seeking a Brand Bilingual (Spanish/English) Copywriter to join their growing Brand Marketing team. This is a 4-month contract opportunity based hybrid 3 days a week in McLean, VA, paying $55-60/hour. In this role, you’ll support the adaptation, creation, and proofreading of both digital and print marketing content for Spanish-speaking audiences across the U.S. You’ll collaborate closely with creative, legal, and linguistic partners to ensure all messaging reflects the brand’s voice while remaining culturally relevant, customer-centric, and inclusive across diverse Spanish-speaking audiences. The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and editor with experience working within brand guidelines, a strong understanding of the U.S. Spanish-speaking market, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Fluency (speaking and writing) in both English and Spanish

Impeccable English and Spanish grammar, punctuation and spelling

Ability to adapt copy from English to Spanish in a relevant, customer-centric way

A keen understanding of the US Hispanic market, and the ability to communicate with language that is inclusive across all Hispanic subgroups

Strong attention to detail, highly organized and deadline-driven

An eagle eye for proofreading and editing print, web content, graphics and videos

A team mentality; ease in collaborating with all types of people

Equal comfort writing a clever headline as writing long format copy

A clear understanding of tone, voice and the ability to adapt your writing style based on the message and intended audience

An understanding of the importance of creative strategy and the ability to clearly present it to others for buy-in

A positive outlook and attitude

Knowledge of Google’s collaborative tools such as Docs, Slides and Sheets is a plus

Your responsibilities:

Review, edit and approve changes to raw translated content in a way that ensures our Brand Personality and Voice (clear, conversational, engaging) shines through

Consult on how to resolve required regulatory/syntax changes from Legal and Linguists

Make final decision on how to implement stylistic suggestions from Legal and Linguists

Leverage available tools as possible to ensure consistency

Consider Brand’s impact across the customer experience, if it is meaningfully different than English

Guide team in the inclusion of Hispanic insights and best practices

Ad-hoc collaboration with English copywriters as needed

Create and maintain a Spanish brand style guide

Attend relevant project meetings

Bachelor’s degree or military experience

At least 4 years of work experience in Spanish language communications or creative writing
