We are a boutique qualitative market research firm specializing in delivering deep consumer and B2B insights through methodologies such as in-depth interviews, focus groups, ethnography, and advisory services. We partner with brands, agencies, and product teams to translate human behavior into strategic advantage. Our expertise spans CPG, Financial Services, Retail, regulated markets (Insurance/Utilities), Healthcare, and Technology. As we scale, we are seeking a driven business development professional to accelerate new client acquisition and growth.
Key Responsibilities
Prospect, qualify, and generate new business opportunities via LinkedIn, industry platforms, outbound outreach, referrals, and events
Build and maintain a robust pipeline to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Conduct discovery calls to identify client needs, budgets, timelines, stakeholders, and decision criteria
Collaborate with research and project teams to develop tailored proposals and scopes of work
Negotiate contracts and close new business; ensure smooth handoff to delivery teams
Track all sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting in CRM systems
Represent the company at industry events and virtual conferences as needed
Maintain strong knowledge of qualitative research methodologies, trends, and competitive positioning
Qualifications
3+ years of B2B sales experience in a hunter
ew business development role
Proven success selling services (market research, consulting, insights, agency, or similar)
Experience selling to mid-market and enterprise-level stakeholders (CMO, Head of Insights, Product, Brand)
Strong prospecting skills including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold email, and cold calling
Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to translate services into business value
Self-motivated, organized, and metrics-driven
Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar)
Ability to manage long sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in qualitative or quantitative market research, insights, or consulting
Existing network within consumer insights, brand, product, or agency ecosystems
Experience writing proposals or statements of work (SOWs)
Familiarity with research-driven sales environments
