Company Overview:

We are a high-volume service organization overseeing a diverse portfolio, including a large mobile service fleet, a dedicated retail center, and various real estate holdings. Having operated in Los Angeles for over 25 years, we are currently evolving our financial infrastructure into a data-driven, multi-entity model and are seeking a Controller to lead this transition.

Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid / On-Site)

Key Responsibilities

Multi-Entity Oversight:

Lead the financial management for multiple distinct legal entities, ensuring clean inter-company accounting and consolidated reporting.

Advanced Financial Reporting:

Manage Adjusted EBITDA, cash flow forecasting, and trend analysis across all business units.

Data & AI Integration:

Leverage modern tools and AI to analyze customer retention, Lifetime Value (LTV), and marketing ROI to drive strategic decisions.

Operational Efficiency:

Monitor and enforce KPI targets, such as maintaining a 45% labor-to-revenue ratio and optimizing fleet logistics.

Asset & Debt Management:

Assist Ownership in managing asset refinancing and optimizing SBA loan terms to improve the overall debt profile.

Internal Controls:

Establish robust safeguards and streamlined workflows to replace current manual bookkeeping processes.

Qualifications

5+ Years Experience:

Proven track record as a Controller or Senior Accounting Manager, specifically within multi-entity or parent-subsidiary structures.

Industry Knowledge:

Experience in fleet management, mobile services, or retail-heavy industries is highly preferred.

Technical Mastery:

Expert-level QuickBooks and Excel; AI-literate with a desire to automate manual reporting.

Strategic Mindset:

Ability to provide "Big Picture" advice to Ownership while maintaining "Small Picture" accuracy in the ledgers.

Note:

This role is focused exclusively on financial leadership and strategy. Front-office administrative tasks, such as managing missed calls, are handled by the COO.
