The Role:
We’re looking for an
entry-level Client Sales Executive
to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll learn how to prospect for new business, build customer relationships, and support the management of a developing book of freight customers across the U.S. and Canada.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is competitive, coachable, and excited to grow in a high-energy sales environment.
What You’ll do:
Build and develop customer relationships through outbound prospecting and daily client communication
Support truckload freight sales with a focus on reliability and strong service
Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth shipment execution and positive customer experiences
Work toward and exceed activity and performance KPIs (calls, shipments, tracking, etc.)
Learn and use OTR’s technology and tools to make informed decisions
Grow your pipeline using phone, email, LinkedIn, and other outreach methods
Follow our structured sales training program while developing your own sales style
Experience/Qualifications:
0–2 years of sales, customer service, or related experience (logistics experience is a plus but not required)
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Highly motivated, competitive, and resilient mindset
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Coachable with a strong desire to build a career in sales and logistics
