Growing Program with 7 On/7 Off (DAYS) Schedule Near Gulf Coast Texas!
This 4 year-old program near the sunny Gulf Coast has seen steady growth and is looking for a 4th full-time hospitalist:

7 On/7 Off schedule with 12-hour DAY shifts; beeper/cell call from home 3 nights per week (returns to the hospital are rare)

Average patient volume currently 15-16 patients per day; occasionally higher but rarely above 18 ppd

ER is responsible for codes but hospitalist welcome to participate as qualified

ICU procedures not required, but training/experience would be a plus (currently performed by pulmonologist, general surgeons or ER docs)

Current hospitalists (all Board Certified) have great group dynamics and enjoy the respect/support of the medical staff

We’re looking for BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physicians with hospitalist training or experience.
