Key Responsibilities
Provide enterprise wide strategic leadership for purchasing and procure to pay transformation initiatives, ensuring scalable, governed, and auditable procurement practices
Set the vision and operational strategy for end to end purchasing processes in partnership with Finance, Legal, Technology, and business leaders
Drive purchasing governance including training, compliance monitoring, exception handling, and behavioral controls in partnership with Finance and Risk teams
Lead procurement related data governance across ERP and procurement systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and auditability
Serve as a senior procure to pay leader, advancing procurement maturity through technology modernization and governance frameworks
Establish and oversee enterprise communication, training, and enablement strategies for ERP and procurement system usage
Provide executive oversight of the transactional buying organization to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant purchasing execution
Own the governance and evolution of purchasing policies and procedures to align with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, audit expectations, and sustainability objectives
Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence through scalable processes, controls, and performance metrics
Build, lead, and develop high performing teams, providing strategic direction, coaching, and accountability
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, aligning procurement strategy with enterprise objectives, risk posture, and transformation goals
Define, monitor, and communicate key performance indicators across the procure to pay lifecycle
Day to Day Responsibilities
Partner cross functionally with Finance, Legal, Technology, and business leaders to drive adoption, efficiency, and compliance
Monitor procurement compliance and manage exception handling processes
Oversee data creation, maintenance, and quality controls within ERP and procurement systems
Support technology modernization and digital readiness initiatives within procurement
Deliver training and enablement programs to ensure stakeholders effectively use procurement systems
Oversee transactional purchasing activities to ensure service levels, risk controls, and operational efficiency are maintained
Continuously monitor and optimize procurement performance metrics
Embed scalable processes and controls to support business growth and evolving needs
Provide coaching and direction to procurement and purchasing teams
Track, analyze, and report on KPIs to demonstrate value realization and continuous improvement
Preferred Experience and Attributes
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Advanced degree or certification such as PMP or CIPS is a plus
Experience in procurement, project management, or related field with focus on risk management and compliance
Experience in people, project, or program management
Strong understanding of procurement processes, risk management principles, and audit practices
Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Effective communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and collaborate across departments
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with attention to detail
MBA or Master of Supply Chain is preferred
Experience supporting or working with data center providers
Experience with Workday or Oracle systems implementations, upgrades, and maintenance
Procurement certification such as ISM CPSM is preferred
