Introduction

We are seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to join our team for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and enhancing user interfaces for web applications using the Blazor framework, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of engaging and functional designs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a portfolio showcasing previous work (web applications, mobile apps, etc.).

Experience with Blazor (knowledge of Blazor components, layout patterns, and integrations).

Strong proficiency in Figma for wireframing, UI design, and prototyping.

Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to better understand design constraints and collaboration with development teams.

Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles.

Ability to create user-centric designs that meet both business goals and user needs.

Solid understanding of responsive design and mobile-first approaches.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Detail-oriented with a passion for creating pixel-perfect designs.

Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

Experience with additional design tools and software.

Background in conducting user research and usability testing.

Experience contributing to design systems.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Design and enhance user interfaces for web applications using the Blazor framework, ensuring consistency with branding and best design practices.

Create detailed wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes in Figma to communicate design ideas effectively.

Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate designs based on user feedback.

Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and QA engineers to translate product requirements into engaging and functional designs.

Collaborate with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately in the Blazor framework, providing design assets and specifications.
