Senior Front-End Developer (UI-Focused, AI-Aware)

Location: Austin, TX (5x/ week onsite)

Duration: 6+ months

Rate:$78/hr

Lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance front-end architectures

"

Build complex, responsive UI systems with a strong focus on usability and performance

"

Translate product and design requirements into robust technical solutions

"

Define best practices for front-end development, code quality, and performance optimization

"

Architect and implement state management, data fetching strategies, and component design patterns

"

Drive integration with backend systems, APIs, and GraphQL services

"

Own and enforce testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

"

Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues

"

Contribute to and support deployment pipelines and production environments

Required Skills & Experience

"

Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript

"

Deep hands-on experience with React.js and advanced state management patterns (Redux or similar)

"

Strong experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and modern rendering strategies

"

Solid experience designing and consuming GraphQL APIs

"

Proficiency with modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS

"

Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility

"

Extensive experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or similar) and test strategy design

"

Strong working knowledge of Node.js for backend integration

"

Experience with Python, including practical exposure to AI/ML workflows

"

Good understanding of AI agents, AI models, and MCP concepts, with ability to apply them in real-world scenarios

"

Hands-on experience integrating AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) into development workflows and IDEs

"

Experience with Nginx and web server configurations

"

Working knowledge of Java (sufficient to understand and collaborate on backend systems)

"

Strong SQL skills, including writing and optimizing queries

"

Experience with containerized deployments and Kubernetes for front-end applications
