The Sr. Manager, Visual Communications provides creative direction, execution, and oversight of visual communications and maintains quality control of visual communications materials, including digital video, photography, graphic design and online content. The senior manager ensures adherence to brand standards and efficacy of all visual communications and marketing products and campaigns. The senior manager oversees the work of a team of digital video editors and producers, graphic and online designers and other visual communications practitioners to set and execute integrated multimedia strategies for priority initiatives. The senior manager has a deep and demonstrated understanding of visual storytelling, still photography, and capturing, producing, and editing digital video. The senior manager has demonstrated experience collaborating with key stakeholders and leadership at a high level. Additional duties include managing audio and visual production at high profile events, reviewing employee performance; assigning, critiquing and editing visual communication materials; coaching and feedback; motivating and setting direction; providing oversight; and integrating communications at the site.

Primary Duties

Develops and executes visual communications strategies and materials, maintains quality control for visual communications materials, and ensures adherence to brand standards. (50%)

Assists leadership to develop and ensure integration of visual communications in priority company initiatives. (25%)

Works with key stakeholders and other areas of the business to ensure effectiveness of visual communications materials and strategic deployment of resources. (15%)

Supervise and lead a team of employees, consultants and project managers, and collaborate with business leaders and experts across Exelon. (10%)

Job Scope

Minimum Qualifications

4-year relevant degree and a minimum of 10 or more years of experience in visual communications or a related field.

In lieu of degree, 12-15 years of relevant experience.

Expertise in production management, still photography and capturing, producing, and editing digital video.

Strong interpersonal communication and management skills.

A high level of self-motivation and independence will be critical.

Strong presentation skills.

Strategic thinking ability; self-motivation; organizational sensitivity.

Excellent follow through capability; demands high level of performance from self and others.

Demonstrated managerial experience.

3-5 years of supervisory experience.

Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively and foster culture change

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement process enhancements and efficiencies, including technology and performance

Proven record to contribute as a strong team player in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, diverse environment.

Benefits

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $136,000.00/Yr. – $187,000.00/Yr. plus an additional $25K in Long Term Incentive Plan annually.
