Staff Accountant- Luxury Fashion Brand!

Our client, a luxury fashion brand, is seeking a

Staff Accountant

to join the team on a temporary basis!

Responsibilities

Work closely with the accounting team to oversee daily accounting operations

Provide top-quality assistance and support to all internal and external business partners

Reconcile credit cards & collected cash in stores/ across divisions

Complete all reconciliations (inventory, fixed assets, cost, and debtor accounting), provisions, and accruals

Post coded invoices as needed

Participate in the recurring monthly and year-end closing process

Contact and cooperate with auditors as needed

Proactively investigate and resolve outstanding vendor invoice issues and chargebacks

Preform other duties or special projects as assigned by accounting team

Qualifications

2-3+ years Accounting experience

Experienced user of Microsoft Excel and SAP

Have a good understanding of general processes in a finance function

Have strong language skills in English, both verbally and in writing
