Job Description

This role is the key contact for assigned accounts within a territory. It provides tactical sales direction and communication strategies to defend existing business and gain new business. This individual works with stakeholders and leadership to implement business and marketing plans for assigned accounts. The focus is on growing share of wallet within an assigned territory.

Drive For Results

Deliver sales goals including profitable year-over-year growth for assigned territory.
Learn about Amcor, its products, the industry, and competitive market.
Increase business with existing and new accounts through prospecting and networking.
Assist in key business negotiations for new opportunities, supporting Amcor’s interests and influencing decisions and actions.
Relationship Management

Build relationships with customers based on trust and respect.
Build cross‑functional relationships to support share‑of‑wallet growth strategies and support the commercialization and onboarding process with other key areas.
Network externally to become familiar with key influencers and collaborators within the industry, focusing on co‑packers, machine suppliers, OEMs, and industry associations.
Stakeholder Engagement

Coordinate sales management, R&D, marketing, and field service in support of validation trials and customer trials.
Manage accounts receivable at acceptable levels with assistance from the credit department.
Work with strategic marketing to understand focus areas to meet strategic unmet customer needs.
Work with leadership on the implementation of defined strategy (technology, product management, commercial) for the market and targeted segments.
Reporting

Report and communicate current performance achievements in terms of sales and marketing contribution to the business unit for monthly management reporting.
Drive forecast accuracy for improved business results.
Be responsible for account planning, pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn management in CRM tool.

Bachelor’s Degree.
1+ years relevant experience in technical, sales, and general management, preferably within the packaging industry.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% of the time.

Compensation

The starting salary for this position is expected to be between $85,600 to $107,000; base pay offered may vary within the full salary range $85,600 to $128,400 depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay details are based on national averages and may include geographic differentials.
