THE ROLE

This is an executive-level retained search for a high-impact Head of Marketing / Customer Acquisition. The company is a market-dominant business generating $500M+ in annual revenue with a large, brand-loyal customer base. The selected candidate will join the Executive Team reporting directly to the CEO and will own the company's full growth engine — from digital acquisition strategy to strategic partnerships and team leadership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and execute the full-funnel digital acquisition strategy including SEM (Paid Search) and SEO for luxury/high-ticket services
  • Optimize for AI-driven search behaviors including Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to maintain brand visibility
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships with premium brands to generate high-quality referral channels
  • Collaborate with PR teams and agencies to enhance brand authority and secure placement in top-tier media
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team with a culture of accountability and data-driven decision making
  • Manage a multi-million-dollar acquisition budget with full ownership of CAC, LTV, and channel attribution metrics
  • Develop scalable acquisition strategies aligned with growth targets and luxury market brand positioning
  • Continuously test, analyze, and optimize campaign performance across channels

REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of experience in growth marketing or customer acquisition
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related master's degree a plus
  • AI-mindset with demonstrated examples of building AI tools that produced measurable results
  • Proven success scaling digital acquisition channels and managing large marketing budgets
  • Track record of driving measurable growth in competitive, premium markets
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical mindset: data-driven forecasting, strategic planning, and performance optimization
  • Must be local to Boston, MA and authorized to work in the United States — no sponsorship available
  • Recent experience at smaller/entrepreneurial companies preferred (large company background earlier in career is acceptable)
  • Must be able to commute to Boston office 3 days per week
