Group Sales Account Executive
The Las Vegas Desert Dogs were launched on June 21, 2021, as the 15th team in the National Lacrosse League beginning play in December 2022. The team is co-owned by Wayne Gretzky, Dustin Johnson, Steve Nash, and Joe Tsai. The team plays at Lee's Family Forum in Henderson.
The Group Sales Account Executive will report to the Manager of Group Sales and will be responsible for generating ticket revenue through the sale and execution of group ticket experiences for the Las Vegas Desert Dogs. This role will focus on prospecting, selling, and servicing group outings including youth sports teams, schools, businesses, community organizations, and special interest groups. The Account Executive will play a key role in creating memorable group experiences while building strong relationships throughout the Las Vegas community and helping introduce new fans to Desert Dogs lacrosse.
Generate new group ticket revenue through strategic prospecting and outreach to youth sports organizations, schools, businesses, community groups, and local associations. Sell group ticket packages and fan experience opportunities including birthday parties, fan tunnels, anthem performances, halftime activities, and other in-game experiences. Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual ticket revenue goals and activity KPIs (calls, meetings, appointments, and group event bookings). Develop customized group outing packages tailored to the needs and interests of organizations and their attendees. Identify, cultivate, and close new group sales opportunities through cold outreach, referrals, networking, and community engagement. Conduct sales meetings via phone, video call, and in-person presentations including facility tours and game day visits. Work closely with the Manager of Group Sales and the Marketing team to promote group-focused theme nights and special events. Work all home games and major events to host group leaders, assist with group experiences, and strengthen relationships. Attend community events, youth sports tournaments, and networking functions to generate new leads and build relationships. Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and CRM reporting in HubSpot while managing accounts and documenting all sales activity. Collaborate with Ticket Operations, Membership Services, and Game Presentation to ensure smooth execution of group outings and fan experiences. Provide exceptional service to group leaders to encourage repeat bookings and long-term relationships. Represent the Desert Dogs brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and strong community engagement.
