divh2Video Analyst/h2pDC Fire, Emergency and Medical Services (FEMS) seeks a Video Analyst for video and communications activities including planning, designing, developing, testing, installing, and maintaining large communications networks. DC FEMSs Office of Information Technology is looking for a Video Analyst to perform the following duties:/pulliResponsible for investigating, collecting, analyzing, and documenting video evidence and recovered property./liliMaintains the integrity of recovered videos and equipment./liliConducts analysis on videos to include still images and clarification./liliResponds to crime scenes to assist in the execution of search and seizure warrants to recover video surveillance devices and media./liliFunctions as a support investigative and assistance body when there is video evidence in criminal and internal investigations./liliPrepares clear and complete reports of investigations./liliCompletes all necessary training requirements including in-service training, certifications, and other departmental training./li/ulpResponsibilities:/pulliProvides technical direction and engineering knowledge for communications activities including planning, designing, developing, testing, installing, and maintaining large communications networks./liliEnsures that adequate and appropriate planning is provided to direct building architects and planners in building communications spaces and media pathways meet industry standards./liliDevelops, operates, and maintains voice, wireless, video, and data communications systems./liliProvides complex engineering or analytical tasks and activities associated with one or more technical areas within the communications function./li/ulpMinimum Education/Certification Requirements:/pulliBachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience/li/ulpSkill - Required /Desired - Amount - of Experience/pulli16+ yrs. developing, operating, and maintaining voice, wireless video, and data comm. systems - Required - 16 - Years/lili16+ yrs. providing direction for communications activities related to large comm. networks - Required - 16 - Years/liliBachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience - Required - 16 - Years/liliExperience with various video recording technology used in recording incidents involving first responders - Required - 5 - Years/liliExperience with installation and troubleshooting of video recording equipment and data - Required - 3 - Years/liliExperience with Roscoe camera systems preferred. - Desired - 0/li/ul/div
