The Role

The Professional Products Division is seeking a strategic leader to spearhead the newly formed

Revenue Growth Management (RGM)

function. This role is a strategic consulting and analytics position designed to drive sustainable, profitable growth across PPD’s rapidly evolving consumer‑facing channels:

Specialty Retail (Sephora, Ulta), Pure Players (Amazon), and D2C.
You will be responsible for building the PPD RGM roadmap from the ground up, translating complex market and consumer dynamics into actionable pricing and promotional strategies. Following the successful model of our Consumer Products Division (CPD), this role serves as a "Category Owner," proactively consulting with Brand, Sales and Finance teams to ensure our retail brands (like Redken and Kérastase) remain competitive and profitable in the prestige landscape.
Key Responsibilities

RGM Foundation & Strategy:

Build the RGM framework for PPD’s consumer channels. Identify initiatives to drive profitable growth and present these roadmaps to senior leadership, division executives and global RGM teams.
Consumer Pricing & Elasticity:

Develop pricing recommendations for new and existing products using methodologies such as Choice‑Based Conjoint and Van Westendorp. Monitor the prestige channel landscape to ensure PPD brands are optimally positioned.
Promotional ROI & Optimization:

Evaluate promotional spend across Specialty Retail and E‑commerce. Strategise the role of each promotion through a "shopper lens," connecting promotional objectives back to brand‑aligned financial goals.
Tool & Dashboard Development:

Lead the creation of dashboards and analytical tools to empower stakeholders to make data‑driven decisions regarding trade spend and mix optimisation.
Cross‑Functional Consultation:

Act as a strategic partner to Marketing, Sales, Finance and Operations. Use financial modelling to ensure recommendations benefit the consumer, the retailer and the Division.
Intelligence Integration:

Combine multiple data sources—including syndicated data (Nielsen/Circana), Amazon data and primary consumer research—to assess market trends and the competitive landscape.

Background and Experience

8–10+ years

of experience in Revenue Management, Strategic Consulting or Commercial Strategy within CPG or the Beauty industry.
Consumer Channel Expertise:

Deep understanding of Specialty Retail (e.g., Sephora/Ulta) and E‑commerce/Pure Player dynamics.
Hands‑on Data Experience:

Proficient with syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI/Circana) and the development of key metrics such as promotional baselines and ROI.
Educational Foundation:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics or Marketing.
Leadership Presence:

Experience managing an internal team or contract analysts and a proven ability to present to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

Brand P&L Experience:

Direct experience with financial modelling and product financials.
Consumer Research Mastery:

Knowledge of discrete choice modelling, Max Diff Scaling and consumer research methodologies.
Visualization Skills:

Experience with data visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) to streamline analysis.
Industry Knowledge:

Working knowledge of the Prestige/Professional hair or skin care landscape.
